Seems unfair to give a low rating to an already self proclaimed 2-star hotel when you know what you're getting yourself into. The staff were lovely, facilities weren't as bad as the other reviews were saying and the family room I booked was really spacious. Only downside is the price and communal bathroom. It wasn't "filthy" though. Everything else was fine
Booked this hotel on booking.com for me and my friend, and the room was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Will be booking again if I am in the area.
A budget hotel with a five star service. The facilities may not be of the highest qualities but if you are looking for a hotel where you will reserve VIP treatment the Crystal Lodge is the place. Very friendly and helpful staff. The staff, especially George are willing to go extra miles to make guests comfortable. It a stone throw to train station and a bus corridor is just outside the hotel. Close to shops , Selhurst Park and most amenities.
Clean room, clean bedsheets. Had a sink in the room, which was handy for brushing teeth. Shared bathroom could use a bit of TLC. But overall, hotel gives value for money. And if not full, free parking right infront of the hotel.
I thought this b&b was good value for money. My room was small but had everything I needed eg TV, tea and coffee making and free wiki included in the price. You can help yourself to continental breakfast in the morning. The only part I didn't like was the shared bathroom which was untidy but you can get a en suite bathroom for slightly more than I paid. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Lovely little place. Clean. Friendly service and they were happy to let us check out a little late. Very nice bathroom with shower gel provided. Room was small but cozy and included a TV, kettle, fridge and fan.
This was my second time visiting your hotel. You feel at home because of the way staff treat you. There are very friendly and kind. The room is very spacious close to the kitchen and clean. The hotel is only 2min from Thornton Heath station which makes it easy to be in central London in 15min. It’s a good experience. I tried it and I recommend it
